When I mention my printer to people who are not themselves printheads, they usually ask whether I ever print anything useful. And while I must admit to have spent quite a few prints on printer improvements or tests, most of the things I otherwise print are useful - I already have enough mostly-useless things around the house. Since I can't usually remember them all, I decided to make an album of them. I'll be adding more as I go (and I think I've forgotten one or two things), but here are 18 useful things I have printed so far.

Belt gears - to flange or not to flange?

Belt gears - to flange or not to flange? As described in http://repstrapdk.blogspot.de/2017/05/the-re-birth-of-z-probe-mount-and.html?m=1 , my Mendel90 (sturdy) prints a lot better when under fairly high tension, right below where the belt jumps off. To avoid embarrassing belt jumping-off incidents, I've considered changing the gear on the X axis shaft to having a flange, stopping the belt. But nophead usually knows what he's doing, so - is there a reason the belt gears shouldn't have flanges? http://repstrapdk.blogspot.de/2017/05/the-re-birth-of-z-probe-mount-and.html?m=1

I have a new bed in my bedroom. It's small, though.
