Anticipating gorgeous vistas, I got the Canon 10-22 lens, and had to try out what it can do for indoor shots, at our lodgings (Cricklewood House) and the shop at the fiber retreat (Ashford Craft Shop). Lighting rooms is difficult! If I am to do more of this, I will definitely want several more flashes and radio controls for them. In the meanwhile, the important things I've learned are a) when triggering an off-camera flash with the built-in flash, use manual power and first-curtain sync, and b) bouncing off a wall is much more effective when close to the wall.
