His latest cause, though, is one few fellow Republicans support: fighting climate change." At 90, Schultz has no further ambitions but to see his great grandchildren survive. Hence, he cannot afford the insane denialist cult of his fellow republicans.
Still a champion of market economics and of the American Pax, he is among the few US conservatives not frantically covering eyes and ears and screaming "nah!" when science offers up the modest proposal that we negotiate moderate measures.... just in case the smartest people on Earth turn out (by weird coincidence) to be smarter than Fox News shills.
