I'm starting to look at places it could be cool to have a Belegarth event. An actual historical castle (rather than the plywood ones they have in the US) would make for a fantastic backdrop, so I started collecting castles, castle ruins, and palaces in the area. A plain Google Maps search doesn't get all of these, I had to vary the terms a bit, and also got some help from official listings. The more I worked on it, the more castles kept popping up. And Munich is not even in high-density area for castles.

  1. Let's chat about that in the office. I was on some larps etc. In castles or castle ruins. But a well situated castle is often very expensive to rent for any event - or in very high demand.

  2. I'd love to hear your experiences.

I realize that renting an actual castle would be expensive, especially down around here, but at first I'd be happy to have it as backdrop, so having access to a lawn with a view would be enough.
