Saw this in my news feed this morning. I'm filing it under #TooGoodToBeTrue, but if even one of the claims work out, that's a big step forward for #hydrogen.

  1. I thought one fundamental problem is this: hydrogen storage is hard and will always leak, at least a bit. Hydrogen is horrible for the environment: ozone and hydrogen don't need much to react.

Thus if everyone would use and attire hydrogen, what would be the effect on the ozone layer? Kiss it good bye?

I saw articles about this fundamental Problem a few years ago, but the routine of car manufacturers and others praising their product or invention seem to keep silent about it

  2. Hadn't heard about that aspect. This guy claims to have a good way to bind it, but at global scale there will be leaks.
